Les Voisins
Charlotte is a Belgian designer and cabinetmaker. After studying industrial design in Liège and furniture design in Florence, she trained in cabinetmaking in the Alps, in the heart of the Ubaye valley.
Pierreis a French landscape architect, engineer, and cabinetmaker. Passionate about local resources, he also trained at the École Supérieure d’Ébénisterie de Haute-Provence.
It is at school, around the workbench, that these two neighbours meet and share the desire to create exceptional solid wood furniture, guided by their passion for craftsmanship and their taste for design.
Ash, walnut, oak, elm, or larch: the selection and combination of distinctive local woods nourish their approach. At the workshop - located in the Vosges - they imagine, design, and shape unique pieces for the hospitality industry, high-end catering, and Wine Houses. Their clients seek unique, durable pieces that can express the identity of a place and provide an experience for their guests.
Through their creations - tables, seating, sideboards, lighting, mirrors, tableware - they highlight unique gestures and skills related to artistic woodworking such as turning, wheelwrighting, or bending. Their dual expertise - design and cabinetmaking - supports the uniqueness of their approach in service of their clients' demands.
