Wood species
Each project is unique. A gesture, a technique, an association of species ; you will find here the wood species that we work with, sourced locally.
For each project, you can select the essences you wish; we will of course guide you regarding our constraints and yours.
On request, we will send you samples from the workshop.
The samples above are oiled and the images unedited. We will of course seek the finish that suits you best.
Walnut, Elm, Black locust, Oak, Ash, Olive ash, Maple, Poplar, Beech, Chestnut, Cherry, Hornbeam.
Behind each essence, a tree that has lived in a territory and shaped a landscape for several hundred years.
Some on rather acidic soils, others on rather calcareous ones.
Some alone, isolated, others in forests surrounded by their companions competing for light.
